EVENT
GRIT is an unsupported bikepacking ride.
We want to guide the participants to the most beautiful parts of the Oberpfalz region.
It’s about exploring unknown paths along historical monuments on either fast rolling gravel and tarmac roads and fun singletrails.
GRIT is a journey.
We want to give you the chance to discover the beautiful region where we live, as well as to challenge your own comfort zone.
The decision belongs to you. So make the best out of it and always remember:

ROUTE
There are two routes:
GRIT - 480 km // 5900 moe
GRITchen - 280 km // 3900 moe
(new in 2027)
Start and finish will be in Regensburg.
The hub of the event will be your local dropbar bike store RADoNERD.
From there, the route leads through little towns, along beautiful lakes, historical places and astonishing castles.
After that, the route will lead you west with a lot of ups and downs till you reach an amazing valley based in the middle of the Bavarian Jura – and from there enjoy the gravel highway leading you back to Regensburg.
All in all it is a fun route with speedy sections on gravel and tarmac, but be careful: there are some very remote sections, nice single trails and rough or steep parts where you need full focus and strong legs.
The uphills are not like the ones you know from the Alps – they are short, sometimes steep.
But they will challenge you more than the route profile seems to suggest.
