How to grit

Don’t be an asshole.

Respect each other – no shortcuts.

Stick to the route - if you leave the route for resupply/sleeping you have to continue riding where you left the route.

You drive on public roads - so respect and follow the rules of the StVO.

No booking of accomodation in advance.

No drafting (unless you ride as a pair).

As a pair: you always have to ride together, no splitting up

Communitywise: get in touch with each other but dont work together as pairs are allowed to.

Respect nature = no littering (immediately leads to DSQ).

No E-Bikes allowed.

No outside support.

In case of an emergency it goes without saying that one should provide first aid and help each other.

In 2027 we will have a deeper look how you stick to these rules as we noticed that there were a few riders in the 1st Edition taking it not that serious.
